I checked some of the departments websites around my area and they say you have to have at least 60 college hours to become a cop. I was wondering if i had to take classes on law enforcement or could i take some business classes and still become a cop?
Here in chicago you need 60 college hours or military. Some other departments around the area still require college even if you have a military background. I've also seen some departments were you just need a HS diploma or a GED. I have military experience(Marine Corps) but some of the departments i was considering applying to also want you to have some college

I know you need to take psychology, but other than that I think you can take Business classes.
