I don't have a job so they feel like they should give me more money. I am going to explain that I am getting a job developer who is going to help me find a job this Summer in my area of study. I feel bad they are going to give me so much money. It's just Friday night through Sunday night. $45 is way to much for watching 3 dogs.

To a dog owner, their dogs are like children.  To other people, it's just a dog.  Do you see the differnce?  So to a dog owner, to find someone who truly cares for the safety and welfare of their dogs, it means the world to them.  They want to repay you for your kindness.  They will feel like they are being ungrateful if they don't compensate you properly.

Dogs are like a member of the family.

You think they are paying you for looking after their animals.
In their eyes they are paying you to take care of a family member.

Animals have personalities as well. They are just like people. Yes, it might be much.
But if they can afford it, and have no problem doing it, then so be it.
