My neighbor are terrorizing my son and I?

We were sort of friends for the last few years. I befriended them for two reasons. My son is friends with their three boys. And most times it was akin to staring at a car crash. Their every day fighting, during which they would each seperately come to me to vent, and their obscure views about themselves was just too intriguing too ignore. My wife warned me several x's to steer clear of them because innevitably I would get caught in the crosshairs. But, my son was friends with their kids and we invited their boys to join in many of our excursiojs. For years things were OK. However, just last week we threw a b-day party for my son and wanted to invite one of their boys. The trouble really.started because we asked their mother to do some driving in order to get her boy from their dad's house where they were staying for the week. We agreed to pick him up and let him stay the night at our house. We just couldn't get him back the next morning. After a night full of she and her husband fighting, the next day she said she would not drive him home. So he would not be able participate at all. She truly did not have any good reason. I know it was because she was hungover and too lazy to do it. Then I made the fatefull deacision to call her on her selfish behavior. I ended up calling their dad and he said he would come get him the day after. Apparently, she was so offended by my calling a spade a spade she has declared.all out war. In the last couple days she and her new husband habe called.the cops on me, saying I stole their snowblower and their kid's bike. Totally false and rediculous. She has instructed her son not to talk to me or my son. He did once and she grounded.him. Her husband ran over my garden hose sprayer and destroyed it. I have seen some of their vandalous ways acted out against others in the past and never approved but they just think its ok because they got what was coming to them. I have never done anything bad to these people. HELP my car will be next.
