i dont wanna buy the tv shows from itunes for my ipod... can i download my dvd of a tv show series n then put it on my ipod?
i have a dvd of a tv series.. wud i be able to put it on itunes?

Downloading things that have not been bought on the internet is illegal in the state of the united states,
When you buy a dvd or such from a store or iTunes you are purchasing part of that companies product.

Yes, of course, download a dvd of a tv show series onto itunes so that you can put it on your ipod to watch, that's easy, you just need to use a right program to help you, first you should know the best movie format for ipod is MP4(AVC/H.264 video code, AAC audio code) movie, so you need to use a right software to convert your video DVD to right ipod mp4 movie, then you can add the converted ipod mp4 movie into iTunes and transfer to your ipod  to watch, I used RZ DVD Copy to do that, it can directly convert video DVD to any format movie, such as convert video DVD to ipod mp4 movie, etc, you could search and download RZ DVD Copy through yahoo or google, hope it could help you.

yes, you need a dvd ripping software. You could try DVDFab DVD Ripper.it can rip dvd to iPod directly.

Hi, you should firstly rip DVD of tv show series into many videos files that can be recognised by iTunes, you know, some certain video files such as mov, mp4, mpeg-4, h.264, etc. are worked well on iTunes, so you must rip dvd to mp4, mpeg-4 or h,264 video files and sync to iTunes/ iPod. 3herosoft DVD to iPod Converter offers a best solution on this dvd to itunes transferring. it can rip dvd to any videos files supported by iPod, and easily allow you to sync videos to iTunes library.
