Okay, So basically, I need a new Tv series to watch. Ones i've watched and enjoyed are:

I've recently watched House MD and Burn Notice, Both of which I loved.

I like intelligent shows that make you think, and I like a bit of action.

So any suggestions? Smiley

Torchwood!  start watching the original series....and then you can catch up with the new ones that are on....they are really good.

Well I really enjoy watching ''how I met your mother''. Its not ''intelligent'' but I think it is interesting that every episode is connected with another one and they kind of interact with one another.
I dont know if it is the type you like but its very interesting if you ask me.

sherlock, you can watch the 1st series, the 2nd series comes out in the Autumn so it will be pretty good timing for you. Sherlock sound like the perfect show for you, it definately makes you thing but also has action in it.

The Talk!!!!!!!
It's amazing, even though it is a talk there are alot of topic discussions, some trivial e.g to regift or not to regift, however, some of the discussions are intelligent. I mean the hostess' on there are soo funny, I mean Leah Reimi and Sharon Osbourne... do I need to say anything else, they're so hilarious!
However, if you like some action perhaps Dexter, or The Mentalist Smiley

Leverage, White Collar and Covert Affairs are all similar to Burn Notice.  You might enjoy Chuck as well - it's a bit lighter, but still fun.
