And I think Reaper too, I've neve watched it but I think that they battle demons and stuff don't know but Buffy definitely does

Charmed was my absolute favourite series growing up, and i've always felt that nothing could ever be as awesome.. however, i was wrong. If you have not yet seen True Blood, i suggest you do immediately. it is AMAZING

there are demons, vamps, maenads, fairies, werewolves, shapeshifters and all kinds of awesome mythical creatures like in charmed.. and best of all drama and romance

I'd recommend:
Buffy - super awesome and they battle demons, magic in there too and it was always great.
Angel - spin off of Buffy, and I loved it (:
The Vampire Diaries - in my opinion, way better than the books, plus it has a great plot line, hot guys and romance (:
True Blood - I've only seen a few episodes of this but I found it quite good, and it's apparently highly recommended.
Smallville - ok, not really demon fighting, but there is fighting of bad guys and drama and what not :L

Buffy the Vampire Slayer ftw because all she does is fight demons and monsteres but there are some interesting plot lines too it in every season there is a main protagonist, and they deal with teen issues such as sex, life, relationships, death of friends or family. Its not depressing but extreamley addictive.

Roswell doesnt involve demons or supernatural but it deals with alien-human hybrids and there is alot of action and romance in it, it could be very suspensful.

and for future TV the CW is coming out with The Secret Circle in the fall which is like a 2011 charmed
