I'm having the worst time coming up with a title. My story is set in a small town in Alabama. It's about this town being turned upside down after a controversial family comes back after having been gone a year. Mixed emotions are stirred and odd friendships are made. It's a lot of drama, anger, love and fun in the south. Can someone help me come up with a title? This book is also going to be a series book. Here are a few I've thought of. What do you think?

*The Holler OR Down In The Holler
*Southern Ways
*Where The Blacktop Ends

I'm also considering writing a screenplay for this book and turning it into a tv series. Thanks so much!!
I can't use the name of my town because the name of it is Odelle and I can't think of a way to make it the title. Can you?

Southern Ways sounds good.
Uhmm...
What Happens in the South
Where the Cows Are Cheesy
Little Southern Accents
It All Goes Down South
Down South
The Bottom Half
The Rednecks?

Uhmm that's all I can think of. What about the name of the town as the title?!

I love "Where the Blacktop Ends." Depending on what your town is called, you could always name the story after the town. I wrote a story about the residents of a small rocky beach town, and the story was called "Devil's Beach," after the town. Or you could name the story after the family, like "The Robinsons" or something.
You could even look up Southern colloquialisms-- things like "A trap door in a canoe" (it's about as useful as a trapdoor in a canoe) or something fun like that. You could have a new colloquialism for each book!
I need help with a title too, would you mind taking a look at my question?
