I am a student so have a steady income of about $200/week. I do work, but for the next 7 weeks I am going out of town for my studies so my part time job will be put on the shelf.

I'm not going to have much money and I want to know of cheap, effortless ways to be healthy. At the moment I tend to buy juiced fruit from this shop on the way to university. You know, they put whole fruit into a machine and it turns into juice. Huge waste of fruit but an excellent way to consume lots of fruit all at once.

I won't have one of these shops where I am going, nor will I have the money to buy the juices!

I used to do smoothies with this stuff called Vitaplan (meal replacement/diet supplement stuff) where I chucked in a banana and milk. However, I got really sick of it. I don't mind making smoothies, but I get very bored very easily.

I am rather fussy so whatever I can throw together to make a reasonably delicious diet supplement works for me. I prefer to blend tons of fruit together because otherwise I will never eat it. And then I survive on toast and pasta bakes or whatever.

I avoid junk food (like chocolate, chips, cake) and fast food (like pizza, KFC, etc) and tend to drink milk instead of water. I also tend to avoid juice too, as it's bad for your teeth, but have started with the juiced fruit as I have noticed a positive change in my health.

Basically, easy ways to incorporate as many fruit and vegetables into my day as possible? I would prefer if the ways were condensed somehow, like juice, or that they were hidden inside other things (like vegetables inside pasta or meat dishes).

Thanks!
With my income, $95 will be rent, $15 expenses, $50 other rent (I'm out of town), and $10 for phone bill... so I will literally have $30 a week to buy extra stuff for where I am staying. Hence the "cheap" aspect. I do have some savings but those would really be better left for a rainy day.
Haha @cheerios comment.

Check out Jessica Seinfeild's cookbook, its meant for parents trying to hide veggies into other types of food... but it might help you. I have the cookbook but I haven't used it yet. So I can't tell you if it tastes good BUT I know some parents who swear by it. I guess it's worth a shot! Good luck on the road to healthiness!

here's the link to her cookbook on Amazon Smiley
