What is your concept of friendship? What is your thought and philosophy about friendship?
I think that friendship is like when you've pi*sed in your pants, everyone can see it but only you can feel the warmth! Tongue
So what do you think?

You can be yourself along with friends and act like losers and don't care what anyone else thinks Smiley

Friendship is something everyone strives for, yet few attain a true and meaningful relationship. It is built upon layers  and groups comprising of your 'best friend', close friends, group members and 'friendly faces'. A best friend is supposedly the one who is your closest confident, the one you can turn to in dire circumstances. You wouldn't expect this person to cross you (although inevitibly they do Sad ). Then there areur close friends, you tell these people (usually have 2) some of your secrets yet not the not significant in your life, A group member is similar, yet perhaps you dont share secrets, just friendly chitchat and laughs. A frierndly face is someone, well they're a friendly face someone you say hi to passing and ask how they are. These are all  different levels of friendship, each with different roles and aspects....

I think friendship is a very easy relation. Probably the easiest of earth.
You don't have to provide and actually feed in contrast to being a parent.
You don't have to love unconditionally as one does in a love relationship. Love is complicated, friendship is not.

It is said if you laugh uncontrollably and don't care about how you look, you are probably with a friend.

You can be yourself and don't need to pretend anything, thats the biggest perk!

Personally, I think most people's perception on friendship is skewed. In recent times, it seems like friendship can't really be defined as people here are putting it. From what others have said here, that seems to be the definition of brotherhood. I had a very enlightening weekend with two of my friends, who I honestly consider brothers, and calling them friends just doesn't fit. A friend is someone who you talk to in school walking from lunch to your locker. A friend is someone who will take a ride to the mall with you and hang out for a while. A friend nowadays, is not much more than an acquaintance.

Brothers take bullets.. Half the time, your "friends" are the ones holding the gun.
