Depends on what you mean by controversial.

'Likely to give rise to public disagreement.'

I'd say Gnosticism.  Controversial because it challenges all three major Abrahamic religions' perspective on the God of Abraham.

It is likely to give rise to disagreement for this reason, however, it is a dead religion so it doesn't come up much.

So which -does- give rise to the most public disagreement?  That's relative to your geography.  Overall, I couldn't say.

That would depend on who you ask. I don't think any member of a religion would consider their own to be controversial.
