I have nothing against religion . But from what I see, doesn't it just separate us from each other ? Why are some people hostile against people of other religions?

I agree, there is no reason to be over religious.

Please define "overly religious."  Pastor G and I follow Jesus and live His way of life.  Is that what you mean?  Jesus said that He came not to unite families but to divide them into who was for Him and who was against Him.  The same is true today.  Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

People are hostile because of a personality problem, or they tire of the way society judges them.. it can be many things.. the same things and feelings that people have who are not religious at all, yet harbor hostility toward those who are religious.

We don't like it if people are telling the lies that will take them to hell.  It's not good to be overly religious.  we are supposed to love one another.

There is no reason to be religious at all in the XXI century. Science provides us with answers before unknown to man. They actually give proof for their claims.

People are going to be hostile towards each other for any reason they can think of.  Religion is just a part of that.  It's human nature to gather in groups and grow societies which they feel to be superior to everyone else.  There is really no point, but that's just kind of the way it is.  Not a lot of people are conscious of what they do either, it's kinda...engrained, in their upbringing.
