Help me my computer sucks!?

I have a dell (yes i know shit already) but when i try to download games from a cd i.e the sims life stories it always says there is an error. I have 2 computers. the second one dosent have internet so it sucks to play games on there. Please help i have tried everything with this computer and im about to throw it out my window lol. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!!!
