Looking for Creative Ideas for my Boyfriend?

so my boyfriend and i have been together for almost 10 months, we've decided to stop giving each other gifts, at least up until we celebrate our 1 year because we don't want the relationship to be all about the gifts. anyways, just because we stopped buying gifts doesn't mean i can't still show him how much i love him. i am looking to do something special for him, something creative that he wouldn't expect at all. I was thinking about renting a stage for a night and surprising him with me singing to him, i don't think i have the best voice but he likes to hear me sing. anyways, i'm looking to do something special, romantic, unexpected, creative, and preferably inexpensive for my boyfriend. i'm very open to new ideas....any suggestions??

p.s. he's into video games, specifically xbox 360, he loves cars, he is a huge technology nerd (he built his own computer and is in love with it), he's a sweetheart, a dork and kid a heart, he's generous and willing to do pretty much anything for me. hope this helps with some ideas, but he's a huge romantic himself and he likes basically everything i give to/do for him so i honestly don't think there's a bad idea out there, besides telling me to have sex with him, that's not the "creative" idea i'm looking for. i'd like to think outside the box =] thank in advance for your help!!!!
